The rapid growth of basic scientific ideas and their application to respiratory medicine has resulted in the establishment of several symposiums and workshops focusing on various elements of pulmonary science and clinical care. Clinicians frequently meet a wide range of thoracic diseases and symptoms in their everyday practice, from moderate to severe, including complex and critical illnesses that necessitate immediate attention and a multidisciplinary approach.
Internal medicine, which serves as the core of medical practice, has 12 specialist areas, including respiratory and critical care medicine. Managing complex and difficult situations in these disciplines frequently requires tackling multisystem and multiorgan difficulties, demanding a comprehensive approach. Academicians will provide and share their clinical experience in respiratory and critical care. Collaboration among healthcare professionals, including consultants, specialists, and general practitioners, is vital for effectively tackling critical care concerns. Scientific forums are essential for allowing medical practitioners, researchers, and scientists to exchange knowledge, share updates, and stay up to date on the latest breakthroughs.
Jakarta International Chest and Critical Care Internal Medicine (JICCIM) is a scientific forum that allows those in the linked field to gather and educate one another on their knowledge, findings, and approaches in their respective areas of competence. This yearly symposium and workshop is hosted by the Respirology and Critical Illness Division, Internal Medicine Department, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, Cipto Mangukusumo Hospital. Following the success of the last JICCIM, the future conference will be held in Jakarta from June 14th to 15th, 2025. World-class medical practitioners and scholars will share their clinical experience in in Respirology and Critical care.
JICCIM 2025 intends to highlight advances and updates in Respirology and Critical Care, focusing on both theoretical and practical aspects of the discipline. The conference will include a forum for medical practitioners, researchers, and nurses working in academic and clinical settings to discuss the most recent clinical theories, skills, research discoveries, and development initiatives in Respirology and Critical Care.
Participants will be able to exchange experiences, share creative ideas, and form networks for future research partnerships with international partners. The program will focus on cutting-edge issues and emerging technology essential to practitioners. We hope that this event will improve the knowledge and skills of all participating physicians in managing critically ill patients with multiorgan disturbances, as well as the competence and qualification of Indonesian Internal Medicine physicians and Sub-Specialist Consultants, thereby increasing patient faith and trust.
